The 10x program under OUTBOX (U) LIMITED which was incorporated and registered under the laws of Uganda under registration number 80010003631210 with its registered address at Plot 83 & 85 Ntinda Road 3rd Floor, Kalooli Lwanga Tower sponsored by Master Card foundation is a 1year project in partnership with AGDI Dairy Farm Ltd in Kamwenge , Isingiro and Kyegegwa.
Through a strategic partnership with Outbox, AGDI DAIRY FARM LIMITED will reach over 2,000 young women enabling over1,750 young women in creating and improving employment by equipping 400 MSMEs (comprising 5%women with disabilities and 3% women refugees) through digitally enabled entrepreneurship along with capacity-building in business management, financial literacy, and digital adoption.
The Program will support economically disadvantaged young women in the dairy value chain in Kamwenge, Isingiro and Kyegegwa (earning less than UGX 270,000 per month). This will include young women running enterprises, those employed in the supported enterprises or those that act as suppliers to the enterprises supported.
- Enhance income generation through digital adoption: By 2027, enable at least 2,000 young women engaged in the dairy value chain to increase their average monthly incomes by 25% through digital-enabled production, value addition, and market access interventions supported by the 10X Program.
- Strengthen Digital and Technical Capacity in Dairy Enterprise Management: By 2027, train and certify 1,500 young women in modern dairy farming practices, agribusiness management, and digital literacy, including the use of mobile applications, e-extension platforms, and digital record-keeping tools to improve efficiency and scalability of their enterprises.
- Expand Access to Digital Finance for Enterprise Growth: Facilitate access to digital credit and savings solutions for at least 400 young women-led dairy MSMEs by 2027, enabling them to invest in productive assets, inputs, and value addition technologies that support business expansion and resilience.
- Promote inclusive Digital Market Linkages: By 2027, establish and operationalize a digital marketplace platform connecting 400 young women dairy entrepreneurs including refugees and persons with disabilities to buyers, financial institutions, and service providers, enhancing inclusivity, visibility, and competitiveness across the dairy ecosystem.
